Hi there! Do you think food, lifestyle, and health are intrinsically
linked? Do you like cheesy puns? Do you like cheese? If you answered
yes to any of these questions, this blog may interest you slightly!
My
name is Justin, and I am a foodaholic. I have a university degree in
music, and everybody knows that an interest in music naturally pairs
with an interest in health and nutrition. I believe that what we eat has
a profound effect on both our short-term and long-term health, and I
value my short-term and long-term health almost as much as I value using
Simpsons references for blog names. I also believe that the study of
health and nutrition is far from conclusive, and in some aspects
possibly misguided or completely faulty.
I plan to use
this blog to share with you, my lovely audience of 7-ish people, some
of my crazy and often unconventional ideas about diet and lifestyle as
they relate to the health of the human body. If you don't have a human
body, I suggest you look elsewhere. Apologies to any anthropomorphic
hedgehogs.
I encourage you to experiment with anything you read on here, but please consider this disclaimer:
I
have absolutely no medical education or training. With a degree in
music, I am about the farthest thing possible from a health
practitioner. My knowledge of health and nutrition solely comes from
personal research and experimentation. This blog is a collection of my
opinions, and is not intended as advice, consultation, diagnosis, or
treatment. Your health is in your own hands. Trust no one but yourself. I
strongly suggest you do your own research!
Disclaimers
are fun! Anyway, I'm going to try my absolute hardest to drop
references and links to studies all over the place to give at least some
credibility to my posts. Otherwise they might seem like the crazy
ramblings of a gouda-loving musician.
Up and at them!
